Samantha Burns
Samantha's goal is to empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives and achieve the emotional balance they deserve. Whether clients are struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, or simply seeking personal development, she is here to guide and support them. Samantha believes in the power of self-discovery and resilience and will work with clients to develop strategies and insights that lead to positive change. She offers individual and couples sessions, and also specializes with LGBTQ+ populations.
Samantha uses tools from different modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotion Focused Therapy. She takes a culturally-competent, trauma- informed approach to her sessions.
Samantha completed an Bachelor of Science with an Honours Specialization in a Neuroscience at Western University, as well as a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Toronto.
